Password policies is the option to set requirements for user passwords.
The struictural restrictions will be honored when
- The user changes his password
- A new randow password is generated and sent
Passwords can also be set to expire after an amount of time.
Finally the policies can be set how to handle if policies are not honored
- Loose: Prompt user at logon for changes
- Strict: User may not log in (reset required)
